WHERE COURAGE BEGINS

Aries Reign Williams stands as a testament to the unmistakable strength that arises when purpose meets perseverance; his journey reflects a life lived with intentional courage and unwavering resolve.

A LEGACY IN THE MAKING

Aries is a Houston–born disability rights advocate whose life story bridges medical innovation, community impact, and courageous visibility. A graduate of the Level IV NICU at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital, Aries made history as the first infant in the world to successfully undergo an awake brain scan with the revolutionary Cap-based Transcranial Optical Tomography (CTOT) device—work later cited by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and featured by Out in Front Magazine and The Houston Chronicle. His journey continues to inspire systemic change, from influencing the Houston Fire Department’s Autism Spectrum Disorder training program to being honored as Hope for Three’s Autism All-Star, reminding communities that access, dignity, and inclusion must be designed from the very beginning.

Aries is advancing change as a disability rights advocate committed to transforming systems so that dignity, access, and belonging are realities—not aspirations—for every individual. Through his story and visibility, he is fostering a future in which opportunity is expected and protections are strengthened for all children and families.
